This Electro-Rock project was born during a live set at the Batofar in Paris, in september 2005. An incrediblemeeting betwwen Sayoko (Japanese singer / bass player / pianist / composer) and Patchol (singer / guitarist), invited to enrich with their talent the electronic ambience created by Archi.Seb. A first recording was made as the experiment doesn't stop being improved and enhanced with new contributions during the live sets, like the introduction of the drums played by Yako.

Rikkha's sound is the image of its musicians, between electro, rock and world music. Each artist adds his own touch to the cosmopolitan spirit of the band : the electro sound of Archi.Seb, with a very rythmic grove, melodic, warm and intense, sometimes disturbing, the voice and bass of Sayoko, sweet and troubling as a melancholic geisha, the guitar and chant of Patchol, realistic and full of poetry, and the rock drums of Yako, hybrid machine where the dynamics of percussive sounds melts acoustic and electronic to serve the music.
